The documentary generally speaks of the law of attraction as the secret tool in achieving our dreams. It is said that we get closer and closer to having what we want when we think of it more. Basically, it is saying that we are what we think and it encourages us to never cease dreaming and thinking of what we want for someday it will all come to us. The person, as in the law of attraction, acts as a magnet to whatever he or she thinks.
On my reflections, I have come to the realization of the same great reality behind prayer. In prayer the person expresses his/her wants to God. This desire said in prayer is present not only in prayer but also in the mind of the person continuously remembered in hope of having it. With extreme faith to this want the person soon gets it. The law of attraction plays in prayer. With that I can say that when you pray faithfully you will really get what you were praying for.
Back to the film, there are some things we must do: ask, answer, and receive. These are the three steps to successfully apply the law of attraction in achieving your dreams. I remember the golden rule of the Benedictine order Ora et Labora meaning pray and work. Prayer should always be infused with work to get the result one wants. Acts bring you closer to your dreams. A classic example is when a man dreams to win the jackpot on lotto but never bets. How could that man possibly win without a bet? The secret has simple instructions.
